strike in wordpress, what the heck?!

Did you know that WordPress supports a strike-option for text when writing text? (this line that “strikes” thru the text, like this)

Default option in the editor, but somehow not shown in the posts. What the heck? I’ve just tried the first option in this new install and ran into some bug! I hope this is not what I should expect …

My workaround:

Switch to HTML Mode and add the <strike> </strike> tags myself before and after the text.

Still not the first bug I was expecting to run into.

Hello world!

Welcome to WordPress. This is your first post. Edit or delete it, then start blogging!

Setting up the blog isn’t as easy as someone might think.

You will need to find a good looking Theme, add some toys with Widgets and Plugins and last but not least, put some content into it ;-)

For the beginning I like this Tanzaku theme, it looks simple and has some kind of animation in it, lets go with it!

But what about the widgets? Don’t care, who needs widgets!

Plugins? Uhm, not for now (except for some stats), but they will be fun later :)

Stats? Google Analytics, what else?! (There’s a Plugin for that: Google Analyticor)

Content? Uh! Thats what everything is about, I will try to post some thoughts in the near future, maybe something interesting, who knows?
